This lovely bride wanted a Mediterranean-style celebration with ocean blues and bright, bougainvillea-inspired floral…which basically describes our ultimate design dream!  We had such fun putting this one together.  With a canopy of greenery, a statement entrance tunnel, modern acrylic signage, luscious charcuterie boards, and ocean blue watercolor accents, our goal was to make guests feel truly transported.

So…Are these models?  Fair question, but the answer is no!  Real couple goals right here!  Congratulations, Caroline + Joey!  We love you and couldn’t be happier for you as you begin this new journey into marriage!

Molly + Kevin’s wedding day was the perfect combination of rustic elegance and off-beat details.  We love when a couple really makes their celebration unique to their relationship!  No choice shined brighter than Molly’s stunning navy blue, floral print gown…who says white is a bride’s only option?!  We loved that this dress highlighted her playful personality and how the bright, summer-inspired floral palette complemented the embroidery so perfectly!

Jessica + Jason | Moss Wedding | Denver, CO

It’s possible there are too many favorite details from Jessica + Jason’s wedding to properly share them all!  This beautiful celebration included so many personalized details: a funfetti cake with cereal milk frosting and fruity pebbles, a Pantone-inspired escort card display as a nod to the groom’s job selecting pharmaceutical coloring, and a playful and moody design featuring moss, ferns, and succulents.  Our favorite part of the day was the moment we caught the bride and groom sneaking a selfie as they waited for their ride to the after party, soaking in that final memory of the evening.  These two are such special people…it’s our favorite when clients turn into friends and we’re so happy that this was the case with these two!

Brooke + Austin Wedding | Denver, CO

It was such an honor to help Brooke + Austin plan their beautiful and classy celebration!  The golf course provided the perfect background for this chic and modern affair.  These two were very involved with the planning process from the beginning, which we loved!  Brooke broke out her DIY skills to craft many of the day’s details and Austin gifted his groomsmen the most unique custom shoes from Artemis Design Co.  They were all cut from the same kilim rug and added a wonderful pop of color!

Madeline + Justin | Lyons Farmette Wedding | Lyons, CO

Madeline + Justin are the absolute sweetest couple and we were so honored to play a part in their planning process!  Their wedding day was a scorcher, and though we were sweating it out behind the scenes to ensure everything went smoothly, it didn’t seem as though the bride, groom, or any of their guests noticed.  Everyone was having too much fun playing with goats, gorging on donut holes, and dancing the night away!  That’s a successful day for us!

It was so fun to design this colorful winter wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch!  We kept the intimate ceremony in the Timber House more traditional with lush ivory blooms + trailing greens and then amped things up for the reception with deep maroons, bright pinks, and glam gold.  It was such a fun surprise for guests and really helped differentiate the celebration spaces.  We love looking through these photos and reliving this gorgeous day!

Denise + Marty | Devil’s Thumb Ranch Wedding | Tabernash, CO

We couldn’t be more thrilled that our 2019 season started off with the intimate winter wedding of this lovely couple!  There is nothing quite like celebrating your marriage on a magical, snowy day in the mountains, cozied up in front of a roaring fireplace and sipping hot cocoa.  With only 40 guests in attendance, it was important to make the Broad Axe Barn at Devil’s Thumb Ranch feel full despite the small guest count, and one long community table did the trick!  Modern + classic details rounded out the design, including a neutral color palette, wintry furs, rustic wood accents to complement the mountain lodge setting, and chic acrylic drink stirrers that doubled as escort cards!  DeniseandMarty-30 Continue reading →

Andrea + Mikey | Flying Diamond Ranch Wedding | Steamboat, CO

We couldn’t be happier that Andrea + Mikey chose us to help them bring their romantic, mountain wedding to life!  We designed the reception tent to mimic the atmosphere of the cozy, intimate ceremony that took place in a nearby aspen grove.  These bouncy, lush florals and soft, airy paper goods truly took our breath away!  Our favorite details included a show-stopping, 5-tier, ruffly cake and a signature drink named after the couple’s sweet pup, Calvin.  Congratulations you two!  We wish we could relive this beautiful day again and again!

Maggie + Austin | Devil’s Thumb Ranch Wedding | Tabernash, CO

Maggie + Austin have been dear friends of ours for years, so it’s pretty difficult to think about their wedding day without tears, even months later.  Plus, this day marked our 100th wedding (!!!) with PSE, so it packs an emotional punch.  These two truly focused on the details — personalized snippets that made their celebration feel like “them.”  Family heirlooms were highlighted, their dog and cat made appearances, they crafted their own signage and paper goods, and each guest went home with an aspen bark vase, designed by the mother of the bride.  We always tell our brides and grooms to “embrace the chaos” on their wedding days and this one proved the point.  Unplanned, imperfect things happen; a wedding is a living, breathing entity.  Maggie + Austin’s dog stopped midway down the aisle to pee, and instead of cringing, we laughed.  It was a moment we will never forget.459 Continue reading →
