Caroline + Joey | Skylight Wedding | Denver, CO

This lovely bride wanted a Mediterranean-style celebration with ocean blues and bright, bougainvillea-inspired floral…which basically describes our ultimate design dream!  We had such fun putting this one together.  With a canopy of greenery, a statement entrance tunnel, modern acrylic signage, luscious charcuterie boards, and ocean blue watercolor accents, our goal was to make guests feel truly transported.

So…Are these models?  Fair question, but the answer is no!  Real couple goals right here!  Congratulations, Caroline + Joey!  We love you and couldn’t be happier for you as you begin this new journey into marriage!

Brooke + Jim | Devil’s Thumb Ranch Wedding | Tabernash, CO

It was so fun to design this colorful winter wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch!  We kept the intimate ceremony in the Timber House more traditional with lush ivory blooms + trailing greens and then amped things up for the reception with deep maroons, bright pinks, and glam gold.  It was such a fun surprise for guests and really helped differentiate the celebration spaces.  We love looking through these photos and reliving this gorgeous day!

Denise + Marty | Devil’s Thumb Ranch Wedding | Tabernash, CO

We couldn’t be more thrilled that our 2019 season started off with the intimate winter wedding of this lovely couple!  There is nothing quite like celebrating your marriage on a magical, snowy day in the mountains, cozied up in front of a roaring fireplace and sipping hot cocoa.  With only 40 guests in attendance, it was important to make the Broad Axe Barn at Devil’s Thumb Ranch feel full despite the small guest count, and one long community table did the trick!  Modern + classic details rounded out the design, including a neutral color palette, wintry furs, rustic wood accents to complement the mountain lodge setting, and chic acrylic drink stirrers that doubled as escort cards!  DeniseandMarty-30 Continue reading

Amalia + Sam | Blackstone Rivers Ranch Wedding | Idaho Springs, CO

Amalia + Sam’s wedding day occurred on the night of a meteor shower.  They encouraged guests to lounge on a viewing deck under the stars to enjoy nature’s magic, but this couple has a magic all their own — a magnetism, a deep kindness — so most guests found it difficult to pull themselves away from the party.  And what a party it was!  These guests had stamina!  When we look back on our 2018 season, many weddings stand out for different reasons, but this is the one that resonates in our hearts — the one that makes us believe in love…and in people.  Amalia + Sam, you are a gift.  Thank you for leaving your fingerprints on our world. A+S-86 Continue reading

Silver + Matt | Lyons Farmette Wedding | Lyons, CO

Silver + Matt’s wedding day started with a hail storm, but we were still able to hold a beautiful and sunny outdoor ceremony a few hours later.  Proof that Colorado weather is truly unpredictable minute to minute.  With sweet details to share with their guests and pizza + cupcakes for dinner, everyone was more than happy to brave the weather to help these two celebrate!  Our favorite details were the topographical maps that the groom + groomsmen wore (marking the spot where the groom proposed) and an epic watercolor display of the cupcake varieties available for dessert!austyn-elizabeth-SMH769 Continue reading

Lauren + Jason | Della Terra Wedding | Estes Park, CO

What a fun day we had celebrating Lauren + Jason!  This couple was so full of joy…and dance moves!  We loved how they kept things simple with an elegant ivory palette, non-fussy cookies + ice cream for dessert, and a sweet DIY polaroid guest book station.  Plus, we got to hang out with Henley, the ring bearer pup, so we’d call that a win.  Congrats to this amazing bride + groom!  We are so happy for you!  LAUREN+JASONMARRIEDblogset-43 Continue reading

Erin + Jonathan | Riverbend Wedding | Lyons, CO

We love how Erin + Jonathan chose to incorporate so many personal details into their design: peaches as place cards as a tribute to a grandmother whose nickname was “Georgia Peach,” ginger jar centerpieces from the bride’s very own collection, a spread of desserts comprised of family recipes, and a signature cocktail to honor a family member who could not attend.  Plus, with Betty the Beverage Burro passing out goodies, it was bound to be a good day.  Congratulations on a beautiful celebration!
