Styled Shoot | Tuscan Garden Party

This was such a fun, mini styled shoot to put together.  People often ask me where my inspiration comes from, and they usually expect an answer of grand proportions.  My visions are admittedly elaborate at times, but sometimes they can also be refreshingly simple.  For this one, I simply wanted to decorate with grapes!  I started there for my color palette, dreamed up some Tuscan details, and the rest of the vision came together from there.

As the case has been with all my other styled shoots this spring (blogs about those to come later!) I found myself trying to outrun and outsmart cantankerous Colorado weather patterns.  A few last-minute changes were made, but we made it work in the end.  Good practice for thinking on my feet and problem solving when issues arise on a wedding day!

To keep this shoot simple, I only reached out to two other vendors to help me make this one happen…but let me tell you, these two pack a heavy punch.  Working with stellar vendors like Daylene Wilson Photographic and Lalé Floral Designs is a wedding planner’s dream!  Daylene showed off her knack for making even the smallest details shine and Stephanie from Lalé created the most swoon-worthy, overflowing, seasonal floral arrangements.  Look closely and you’ll find the surprise strawberries she incorporated.  I think this would make the perfect little setup for a bridal shower, baby shower, or any spring or summer al fresco wedding.
